Choose your server software
Vanilla follows the official game. Paper is a common choice for plugin servers. Fabric, Forge and NeoForge load mods, but each pack needs the correct loader and Minecraft version. Tell us the exact pack name and version before choosing a plan.
Size the plan around your world
Launch pricing is 2GB for $7/month, 4GB for $13, 8GB Modded for $24, 12GB for $34 and 16GB for $44. The first month is 30% off. RAM needs depend on mods, explored terrain, view distance and player activity; a player count alone cannot settle the choice.
Bring a world or start fresh
Keep an untouched copy of your world before any move. Share the current Minecraft version, server software and required plugins or mods. Changing versions or loaders can make an existing world incompatible.
Check access before inviting friends
Use a whitelist for a private group and grant operator access only where needed. Java clients normally connect to Java servers; Bedrock access requires a compatible cross-play setup and is not automatic.

Can I use mods and plugins together?
Standard Paper plugins and Forge or Fabric mods target different server platforms. Send your requirements first so compatibility can be checked.
