WISPDOCK / GAME HOSTING
7 Days to Die server hosting
Make horde night a group appointment. Set day length, difficulty and world generation before your first base goes up.
Choose a world and game version
Use the same game branch on the dedicated server and clients. Pick a supplied map or a generated world, and keep the world generation settings with your records so a restart does not become an accidental new world.
serverconfig.xml
The XML configuration controls the server name, password and world settings. Keep a custom copy and back up saves and generated world data before a game update. Check that edits leave valid XML.
Bring your world, keep a copy
Tell us the game version, your mods and whether you already have a save. Keep the original files until you have joined the new server and checked your progress. If something fails, send the first useful error from the startup log with passwords and tokens removed.

7 Days to Die hosting FAQ
Can I install a mod overhaul?
Check the overhaul’s required game version and whether every player needs client files. Large overhauls often expect a fresh save. Try the full mod set before inviting the group.
How do I get started?
Create a Wispdock account, select 7 Days to Die and check the available plan, region and full price in the panel. If you are bringing mods or a save, send us the details before choosing.
How should I choose a plan?
For 7 Days to Die, start with the world, mods and expected activity. A fresh private server and a long-running community have different needs. Ask us about your setup rather than choosing by player count alone.
What should I back up before an update?
Stop the server cleanly, then keep a separate copy of the save, configuration and required mod list. Test the updated server before replacing your only working copy.
