WISPDOCK / GAME HOSTING

V Rising server hosting

Set the rules for a private PvE world or a PvP community. Decide on castle limits and raid windows before players settle in.

Choose the ruleset

V Rising separates host settings from gameplay settings. Decide on PvE or PvP, access and progression rates first, then test the rules on a fresh world before committing a long-running save.

ServerHostSettings.json

Host configuration uses ServerHostSettings.json, while gameplay rules use ServerGameSettings.json. Keep persistent save data and both configuration files in backups. Change settings while the server is stopped.

Bring your world, keep a copy

Tell us the game version, your mods and whether you already have a save. Keep the original files until you have joined the new server and checked your progress. If something fails, send the first useful error from the startup log with passwords and tokens removed.

V Rising hosting FAQ

Can I change the rules later?

Many settings can be adjusted, but changes can affect progression and existing castles. Back up first, tell players what is changing and verify the result on a test copy.

How do I get started?

Create a Wispdock account, select V Rising and check the available plan, region and full price in the panel. If you are bringing mods or a save, send us the details before choosing.

How should I choose a plan?

For V Rising, start with the world, mods and expected activity. A fresh private server and a long-running community have different needs. Ask us about your setup rather than choosing by player count alone.

What should I back up before an update?

Stop the server cleanly, then keep a separate copy of the save, configuration and required mod list. Test the updated server before replacing your only working copy.
